The Columba is conveniently situated on the banks of the River Ness, within easy walking distance of the theatre, shops and other amenities. As capital of the Highlands, Inverness is an excellent base for exploring the area, with Culloden Battlefield, Spey Valley and the Whisky Trail nearby. The Columba re-opened in Spring 04, after a complete refurbishment.
