The Cadogan Hotel on Sloane Street in Knightsbridge, one of London's most prestigious addresses, has recently completed its refurbishment of two floors of bedrooms and the public areas, including the bar, restaurant and drawing room. Located in one of London’s most fashionable areas, the designer boutiques of Sloane Street as well as the department stores of Harrod’s and Harvey Nichols are all within easy walking distance. The hotel was the former home of the Edwardian actress Lillie Langtry and was also frequented by Oscar Wilde, who was staying at The Cadogan when he was arrested in 1895. Throughout the hotel there is the feeling of a private town house steeped with British old world elegance and the experience is complemented by unexpected contemporary touches which are subtly intertwined to bring this historical building into the 21st century.
