Set on a cobbled street, close to the Bronte Parsonage in the famous 'literary' village of Haworth, this ecentric, cluttered, comfortable stylish place occupies three former weavers cottages. Acclaimed for its regional cooking and relaxing atmosphere, with individually furnished bedrooms. An ideal base for a visit to Yorkshire.

Further details taken from the Weavers brochure...

Weavers, which was converted from a group of traditional cottages in the heart of the village of Haworth, first opened its doors in 1978 and over the years has established a large and very loyal following. The cooking, often described as "Honest Northern" is never-the-less light and stylish, using local supplies of fresh ingredients. We change the menu with the season but you may well find dishes such as these -

Smoked Salmon fish cakes; baked field mushrooms with pine nuts and garlic; fresh fruit and warm bacon salad; homemade soups and breads; pan fried calves liver; crisp Gressingham duck breast with a delicious rhubarb sauce; local lamb, roast pork with cracklin' and old school puddings. There is always a choice for Vegetarian dinners

Guest Rooms

We now have a few delightful bedrooms available for your overnight stay. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and is individually decorated in a similar style to our restaurant, with antique pieces and lots of modern touches, such as TV, satellite, radio direct dial telephone, alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press.

Our aim is to make the rooms a real home from home for visitors and for that reason we will endeavour to provide a full service. The rooms have super views over the village, the Church, the Bronte parsonage and beyond to the moors. Bradford, York, Calderdale and the Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible.

Please note that we do not serve food during the day, that the bar closes at midnight - and that we are closed each Sunday, after lunch until Tuesday afternoon.

TO FIND US

We are just off the Keighley to Stanbury/Colne road (B6142) near the centre of Haworth. Follow Bronte Parsonage Museum signs, sue their car park. Weavers backs onto it. Ignore signs from Bronte Village & Tourist Information, they just mislead.
